Moses Mutuli has been appointed as the director of Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA), for a period of three years, with effect from the 14 April 2022.
Mr Mutuli is the Immediate Past President of The Actuarial Society of Kenya (TASK), a professional body that brings together qualified and trainee actuaries in professional, educational and research organisations with an aim of promoting the actuarial profession in Kenya, and the regional markets.
He is currently the General Manager, Life Insurance East Africa, for Sanlam Pan Africa. For his role, he serves in the Boards of Sanlam in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi and in addition is a Director at Hubris Holdings Ltd in Kenya.
Moses is a qualified actuary and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries UK (FIA) and Fellow of The Actuarial Society of Kenya – TASK (FeASK). He has over 18yrs experience in insurance and actuarial consulting gained in the UK, South Africa, and Kenya.
Moses is a Rhodes Scholar and holds an MBA and MSc in Applied Statistics both gained from University of Oxford (UK), and BSc Mathematics from University of Nairobi.
