TASK’s Annual Actuarial Convention Set for November

TASK 2021 Actuarial Convention committee has elected 4th and 5th of November as the dates for the Society’s annual event.

The committee’s chair Donald Were says that this year’s convention will be held both virtually and physically, under the theme: Greening The Financial Systems. “It will be an exciting session as it will be hybrid, and we want to showcase capacity of actuaries on green financial instruments,” he added.

TASK Convention committee is divided into four sub-committees: Technical, which is headed by Lucy Nondi, Logistics (Edward Mwangi), Marketing (John Njiru), and University Students (Grace Munyiri). Other members of the committee are: Dennis Kevogo, Dennis Ondieki, Elias Omondi, Eric Ndoria, Leonard Korir, Mikaeli Jesang, Eric Mwendwa, and Barbara Wothaya. The TASK Council is represented in the committee by Patience Muvea.
